Healstar Ointment helps treat and control skin infections caused by bacteria such as rosacea (a type of acne), infected skin ulcers, and wounds. It provides relief from pain, swelling, redness, and itchiness in the affected area and speeds up the healing process.

Healstar Ointment is a combination of three medicines: Metronidazole, Sucralfate, and Povidone Iodine. Metronidazole is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Sucralfate is an anti-ulcer medicine that covers the damaged tissue and protects it against injury to facilitate healing. Povidone Iodine is an antiseptic. It slowly releases iodine which kills or prevents the growth of infectious microorganisms.
